binding day

my hands are cramped from binding all day.  i'm in the middle of my pre-teaching/pre-vending frantic stage.  today i saw some patients, bought some last minute supplies, finished some pages for my "beloved" class samples, and bound a lot of books.  i'm leaving tomorrow for grand rapids to teach at creative inspirations.  before i go i have to print out all my handouts and put together my kits.

i'm really happy with the books of polymer pages for the "beloved' class.  i love the little 3x4 size, and the weathered look they have.  i didn't have time to take close up pictures, so i'll have to do that when i return.

i think i don't want to part with any of the coptic bound blank books i made.  I really like these!  i'm pleased with all the covers and the paper selection for the interior.  i was a little  unhappy with some of the binding, but i'm not sure if anyone will notice the things that i would like to change.

i wish i had time to make some more books to vend on friday night.  at least i have a head start for the 57th street art fair in a couple of weeks.
