more stencil proofs

over the past few days, i've been cutting more stencils.  i thought i'd be able to make proofs and then finish my stencil book.  but it is far too windy for that.  my stencils were blowing everywhere!  and paint all over!

i'll show you what i have though.  they should come out much better when there is no wind.

i'm really happy with the biohazard sign and the obama.  my orange paint tends to splatter.  but i got a better jack skelington later.

definitely suffering in the wind.

i redid the gas mask because it was too fragile the first time.  now i'm wondering if i should redo the owl.  i kind of messed up the outer circle.

today i will work on the cover for the stencil book.  i have to paint the background.  the cover is canvas, from a drop cloth, which i gessoed.  i'm also working on the cover of a big wooden book for publication.  i'll be happy when i can show you what i'm doing again everyday...when this project is over.
