lately, in our csa box, we have been getting a lot of fall squash. some of it i can identify. there are two acorn, one butternut and one pumpkin. the others? who knows.
if you have a clue, let me know. better yet, if you have a recipe, that would be great.
my other dilemma is that not all of our tomatoes ripened before the frost. we picked them anyway.
considering i don't like fried green tomatoes, is there anything else i can do with them? we do intend to save some of the seeds and see if we can start new plants in the spring. we have no idea if this is going to work.
aha! some recipes from zemanta! but still, if you have something tried and true, i'd love to hear it.


That long striped one is Delicata. It's really sweet and great stuffed with rice.
