ephemera on ebay!

I thought it was time to clear out the chi and share the inspiration with others.  Mixed media artists tend to collect a lot of stuff.  But every once in a while it's a good idea to let some of it go.  Usually the things you need will come back to you at the right time.  It took a long time, but I was able to put several auctions on ebay.  I'm using my non-art account, the one that wasn't hijacked.

I have a few lots of ephemera:

I also uploaded some extra creative memories supplies, but they aren't live on ebay yet.  Oh, and there's a vintage medical exam table too.  Perhaps for a really, really large assemblage :)

It always surprises me how long this takes!  I use a great program, Garage Sale, which does make things easier.  Help me spread the joy!  You know you want some new stuff in your stash!!

ebay hijacker

i think i forgot to mention that my ebay account had been hijacked.  it was so distressing.  i have two accounts, one for silly stuff and one to sell my art.  it was the art one that was attacked.  i got several emails asking me about some name brand purses, and then my account was suspended.  right at the same time the us postal service site wouldn't let me log on.  i'm very careful with my information online, and i have a mac for which there is usually no spyware.  i'm really not certain what happened. 

i can get back into the usps, which i think was a coincidence, and ebay has restored my account.  i just wish i knew why it all occurred.

i haven't used my ebay account for selling for many months.  i've been having much better success with etsy.

somerset studio

time to share the creative inspiration!!

i've spent a good portion of the day preparing my old issues of somerset studio for ebay!  take a look.

i'm pretty much running out of room for magazines, so i thought i'd clear out my chi and let others get inspired.  i was actually surprised, as i was scanning these, that there was still so much i wanted to read and save.  so i photocopied a few articles and kept myself on track.

it just happened to be $0.20 insertion day on ebay, so that was a bonus.  more to come!
