it's very, very cold in my studio. there is no heat or insulation in the basement, and the weather is pretty cold outside right now. i do have a space heater, but as the sun goes down it gets more chilly. i knit a sweater last year and accidentally felted it, so it's pretty misshapen. i never wear it out, but my other sweaters are cotton, so i figured i'd put it on in the studio. woo! big mistake! as i worked on more book covers and step outs, the sweater began to shed. bits of sweater kept ending up in my polymer. i took the sweater off, but that didn't help. i guess bits of wool are kind of like glitter. they end up everywhere! so my progress has slowed a bit as i pick out teensy hairs of sweater.
i'm still doing well, though, and should be right on target to get things done by the weekend.
